About Lisa Zeffert

Having discovered yoga over 12 years ago, I have practiced various styles and trained with different teachers across several countries. Alongside my passion for aerial silks and circus arts, I have always sought activities that challenge my body. Unfortunately, I didn't always listen to my body's needs, leading to a serious shoulder injury years ago.

After enduring two years of treatment, my path to recovery began. Yoga played a vital role in regaining the use of my shoulder and rebuilding strength. The transformative impact of yoga during my recovery inspired me to become a yoga teacher in 2019. I completed the 200-hour European Yoga Alliance Professional Teacher Training program and obtained certification as a Yin Yoga Instructor.

Since then, I have dedicated many hours to providing individual and group classes, both in-person and on Zoom. Yoga has not only healed my body but also instilled confidence, self-awareness, and the ability to listen to and nurture my body. It is with a desire to share the benefits of yoga that I created a yoga tribe, fostering a sense of community.

My personal experience with chronic pain, injury, and recovery informs my teaching approach. I prioritize teaching people, not poses, acknowledging that each body is unique, with its own strengths and limitations. My aim is to make yoga accessible to everyone, helping you build self-confidence and strength.

Yoga is not a one-size-fits-all practice. Every pose can be adapted to suit your individual needs, enabling you to reap the benefits of your practice. Join our yoga tribe in Mijas Pueblo and discover how yoga can heal and empower you on your personal journey.
